I've been doing the sleep schedule that was mentioned in Seth Speaks (two blocks of 3 hours). So far (a couple of weeks) it's been good, though I'm also getting off of a medication that impacts various aspects of my sleep ... I'm not very good at doing one thing at a time. :)
I was wondering if anyone else here has had any experience with doing this sleep thing, and could share that experience?
So far for me, I've found that I have more time to do things (side benefit), but in addition to that, the duality that's existed between my sleep and awakened state has been reduced. I'm remembering a lot more of my dreams, and have actually had some pretty heavy development over the course of time thus far. In one dream I became conscious of the fact that what I was thinking was shaping the world (or dream) around me, and had a few other gains. In another dream I became aware of the fact that I was dreaming, and started to shape my dream using techniques I learned in an astral projection group I attended not too long ago.
I have a lot of faith in the ideas that have been presented in this book. They feel right to me. Some of them I had already been aware of before reading the book, having time to gain experience that validated them in my mind.
I guess part of me is a little concerned ... I haven't read much about people who have done this sleep thing, so I just wanted to see who out there has. There are studies out there that indicate that doing something like this could be unhealthy. Of course, there are studies out there that could probably used to advocate against any practice, so it's not like what I've read necessarily has any validity.

Re: Seth sleep schedule
Thu, January 24, 2008 - 7:23 AMThat is my natural sleep schedule. It creates a smaller clivage between dimensionsIons. It makes for more psychic and lucid dreams. Also, it is better to record and understand the contents of your dreams. -
